So I was just rereading the article on Pale Fire when I got to the last paragraph, and I realized that I have read this before. Then I thought to look at the back of our books edition and there was the quote from Mary McCarthy on her review of Pale Fire.
It's amazing the connections that Nabokov has with the world around us. It is no longer just in his writing but on every part of his works. Perhaps you already saw this but I thought I would point it out just in case, because I was so struck by it. Maybe I am just slow on the uptake. Now that I have taken this class he just seems to be everywhere.
